Folder Options missing

Many of us sometimes find the folder options missing in windows explorer.

Here's the solution
Open Run and then type "gpedit.msc".
Now goto
User Configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer.

Click on Windows Explorer you will find the 3rd option on the right side of screen
"Removes the Folder Option menu item from the Tools menu"

Just check it,

if it is not configured then change it to enable by double clicking on it and after applying again set it to not configured.

I hopes that you will find the option after restarting windows.

World's greatest Brand name.Where does it come 4m?

Adobe - [/red]came from name of the river Adobe Creek that ran behind the
house of founder John Warnock.

[red]Apache - [/red]It got its name because its founders got started by applying patches
to code written for NCSA's httpd daemon. The result was 'A PAtCHy'
server -- thus, the name Apache

[red]Apple Computers - [/red]favorite fruit of founder Steve Jobs. He was three months
late in filing a name for the business, and he threatened to call his company Apple
Computers if the other colleagues didn't suggest a better name by 5 o'clock.

[red]CISCO - [/red]its not an acronym but the short for San Francisco.

[red]Google -[/red]the name started as a jokey boast about the amount of information
the search-engine would be able to search. It was originally named 'Googol',
a word for the number represented by 1 followed by 100 zeros. After founders,
Stanford grad students Sergey Brin and Larry Page presented their project to
an angel investor, they received a cheque made out to 'Google'

[red]Hotmail - [/red]Founder Jack Smith got the idea of accessing e-mail via the web
from a computer anywhere in the world. When Sabeer Bhatia came up with
the business plan for the mail service, he tried all kinds of names ending in
'mail' and finally settled for hotmail as it included the letters "html" - the
programming language used to write web pages. It was initially referred to
as HoTMaiL with selective upper casing.

[red]HP - [/red]Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard tossed a coin to decide whether the
company they founded would be called Hewlett-Packard or Packard-Hewlett.

[red]Intel - [/red]Bob Noyce and Gordon Moore wanted to name their new company
'Moore Noyce' but that was already trademarked by a hotel chain, so they
had to settle for an acronym of INTegrated ELectronics.

Lotus (Notes) - [/red]Mitch Kapor got the name for his company from 'The Lotus
Position' or 'Padmasana'. Kapor used to be a teacher of Transcendental
Meditation (by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi).

[red]Microsoft - [/red]coined by Bill Gates to represent the company that was devoted to
MICROcomputer SOFTware. Originally christened Micro-Soft, the '-' was
removed later on.

[red]Motorola - [/red]Founder Paul Galvin came up with this name when his company
started manufacturing radios for cars. The popular radio company at the time
was called Victrola.

[red]ORACLE - [/red]Larry Ellison and Bob Oats were working on a consulting project
for the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency). The code name for the project was
called Oracle (acronym for: One Real Asshole Called Larry Ellison)

[red]Red Hat - [/red]Company founder Marc Ewing was given the Cornell lacrosse team
cap (with red and white stripes) while at college by his grandfather. He lost it and
had to search for it desperately. The manual of the beta version of Red Hat Linux
had an appeal to readers to return his Red Hat if found by anyone !

[red]SAP -[/red] "Systems, Applications, Products in Data Processing", formed by 4 ex-IBM
employees who used to work in the 'Systems/Applications/Projects"

[red]SUN - [/red]founded by 4 Stanford University buddies, SUN is the acronym for Stanford
University Network.

[red]Xerox -[/red] The inventor, Chestor Carlson, named his product trying to say 'dry' (as
it was dry copying, markedly different from the then prevailing wet copying).
The Greek root 'xer' means dry.

[red]Yahoo! -[/red] the word was invented by Jonathan Swift and used in his book 'Gulliver's
Travels'. It represents a person who is repulsive in appearance and action and is
barely human. Yahoo! founders Jerry Yang and David Filo selected the name
because they considered themselves yahoos.

Speed up your internet by 20%

Microsoft reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC etc

but u can get it back!

just Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes. This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:
Local Computer Policy
then Computer Configuration
then Administrative Templates then Network then QOS Packet Scheduler and then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."
So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%......................

want 2 see the movie STAR WARS on ur pc?

Microsoft has hidden a version of Star Wars done entirely with ASCII characters in the Windows XP operating system. But you must be connected to internet to view it.When online,go to start->run.Now type ' telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl ' without the single quotes.See it for yourself.

lock the Folders without using any software

Suppose you want to lock the folder games in d: which has the path D:\Amar.In the same drive create a text file and type
ren amar amar.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B3030

Create another text file and type in it
ren amar.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} amar
